Rt Hon Fiona Mactaggart MP was born Fiona Margaret Mactaggart on 12 September 1953 in London, England and is the Labour MP for Slough.


Currently sitting on the Intelligence and Security Committee of Parliament (since September 2015), Fiona Mactaggart does not chair at this time.

She has in the past sat on Intelligence and Security Committee of Parliament (May 2014 to Mar 2015), Draft Modern Slavery Bill (Jan 2014 to Apr 2014), Public Accounts Committee (Oct 2011 to Apr 2014), Health Committee (Jul 2010 to Nov 2010), Human Rights (Joint Committee) (Dec 2009 to May 2010), Draft Constitutional Renewal Bill (Joint Committee) (May 2008 to Jul 2008), Children, Schools and Families (Nov 2007 to May 2010), Education & Skills (Jul 2006 to Nov 2007), Public Administration Committee (Jul 1997 to Feb 1998).


In the past, Fiona Mactaggart has held the position of Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Home Office) (2003 to 2006) in government.

She was Shadow Minister (Equalities) (2011 to 2011), Shadow Minister (Equalities Office) (2010 to 2011) in opposition.
