The Rt Hon. the Lord Naseby

Life peer


The Rt Hon. the Lord Naseby was born Michael Wolfgang Laurence Morris on 25 November 1936 in U.K., and is a Conservative Life peer sitting in the House of Lords since 28 October 1997. He previously sat in the House Of Commons as MP for Northampton South.


Currently sitting on the Standing Orders (Private Bills) Committee (Lords) (since December 2002), Lord Naseby does not chair at this time.

He has in the past sat on Draft Deregulation Bill (Joint Committee) (Jul 2013 to Dec 2013), EU Sub-Committee F - Home Affairs (Nov 2009 to Oct 2011), Administration and Works Committee (Lords) (Jun 2005 to Nov 2009), Panel of Chairs (Nov 1983 to Jan 2000), Energy (Nov 1982 to Apr 1985), Public Accounts Committee (May 1979 to Mar 1992).


He was Chairman of Ways and Means.
