Lady Hermon

Lady Hermon was born Sylvia Eileen Hermon on 11 August 1955 in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland and is the Independent MP for North Down.

Lady Hermon ceased to be a member of the House of Commons on 03 May 2017 (general election).


She was Shadow Spokesperson (Culture, Media and Sport) (2002 to 2005), Shadow Spokesperson (Women) (2001 to 2005), Shadow Spokesperson (Home Affairs) (2001 to 2005), Shadow Spokesperson (Trade and Industry) (2001 to 2005) in opposition.
