Rt Hon Norman Lamb

Rt Hon Norman Lamb was born Norman Peter Lamb on 16 September 1957 in Watford, England and is the Liberal Democrat MP for North Norfolk.

Rt Hon Norman Lamb ceased to be a member of the House of Commons on 03 May 2017 (general election).


In the past, Norman Lamb has held the position of Minister of State (Department of Health) (2012 to 2015), Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Business, Innovation and Skills) (Employment relations, Consumer and Postal Affairs) (2012 to 2012), Assistant Whip (HM Treasury) (2010 to 2012) in government.

He was Liberal Democrat Spokesperson (Health) (2015 to 2017), Shadow Secretary of State for Health (2006 to 2010), Shadow Secretary of State (Trade and Industry) (2005 to 2006), Shadow Spokesperson (Treasury) (2002 to 2005), Shadow Spokesperson (International Development) (2001 to 2002) in opposition.
