Andrew Selous MP

South West Bedfordshire


Andrew Selous MP was born Andrew Edmund Armstrong Selous on 27 April 1962 in London, England and is the Conservative MP for South West Bedfordshire.


Currently sitting on the Health Committee (since October 2016), Andrew Selous does not chair at this time.

He has in the past sat on Ecclesiastical Committee (Joint Committee) (Oct 2010 to Jul 2014), Work and Pensions Committee (Jul 2001 to Jul 2005).


In the past, Andrew Selous has held the position of Assistant Whip (HM Treasury) (2014 to 2016), Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Ministry of Justice) (2014 to 2016) in government.

He was Shadow Minister (Work and Pensions) (2006 to 2010), Opposition Whip (Commons) (2004 to 2006) in opposition.
