Andrew Gwynne MP was born Andrew John Gwynne on 04 June 1974 in Manchester, England and is the Labour MP for Denton and Reddish.

Andrew Gwynne is currently Shadow Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, an opposition position he has held since June 2017.

In addition to this role, he is also Co-National Campaign Coordinator.

He was Campaigns and Elections Chair (2017 to 2017), Shadow Minister without Portfolio (Cabinet Office) (2016 to 2017), Shadow Minister (Health) (2011 to 2016), Shadow Minister (Transport) (2010 to 2011) in opposition.
