Mary Creagh



Mary Creagh was born Mary Helen Creagh on 02 December 1967 in Coventry, England and is the Labour MP for Wakefield.

Mary Creagh ceased to be a member of the House of Commons on 03 May 2017 (general election).


In the past, Mary Creagh has held the position of Assistant Whip (HM Treasury) (2009 to 2010) in government.

She was Shadow Secretary of State for International Development (2014 to 2015), Shadow Secretary of State for Transport (2013 to 2014), Shadow Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (2010 to 2013), Opposition Assistant Whip (Commons) (2010 to 2010), Shadow Minister (Health) (2010 to 2010) in opposition.
