Stephen Hammond MP



Stephen Hammond MP was born Stephen William Hammond on 04 February 1962 in Southampton, England and is the Conservative MP for Wimbledon.


Currently sitting on the Treasury Committee (since September 2017), Stephen Hammond does not chair at this time.

He has in the past sat on Statutory Instruments (Select Committee) (Jul 2015 to May 2017), Statutory Instruments (Joint Committee) (Jul 2015 to May 2017), Treasury Committee (Jul 2015 to May 2017), Public Accounts Committee (Dec 2014 to Mar 2015), Crossrail Bill (Nov 2007 to Nov 2007), Regulatory Reform (Jul 2005 to Jun 2008).


In the past, Stephen Hammond has held the position of Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Transport) (Roads and Motoring) (2012 to 2014) in government.

He was Shadow Minister (Transport) (2005 to 2010) in opposition.
