Jim Fitzpatrick MP

Jim Fitzpatrick MP was born James Fitzpatrick on 04 April 1952 in Glasgow, Scotland and is the Labour MP for Poplar and Limehouse.


In the past, Jim Fitzpatrick has held the position of Minister of State (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) (Farming and the Environment) (2009 to 2010), Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Transport) (2007 to 2009), Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Employment Relations & Postal Services) (2006 to 2007), Minister (Office of the Deputy Prime Minister) (London) (2005 to 2006), Vice-Chamberlain (HM Household) (2003 to 2005), Lord Commissioner (HM Treasury) (Whip) (2002 to 2003), Assistant Whip (HM Treasury) (2001 to 2002) in government.

He was Shadow Minister (Transport) (2010 to 2013), Shadow Minister (Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) (2010 to 2010) in opposition.
