Kelvin Hopkins MP

Kelvin Hopkins MP was born Kelvin Peter Hopkins on 22 August 1941 in Leicester, England and is the Labour MP for Luton North.


Currently sitting on the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee (since July 2015), Kelvin Hopkins does not chair at this time.

He has in the past sat on European Scrutiny Committee (Jul 2015 to Jul 2016), Draft Deregulation Bill (Joint Committee) (Jul 2013 to Dec 2013), Public Administration Committee (Jan 2011 to Mar 2015), Transport Committee (Jul 2010 to Mar 2011), European Scrutiny Committee (Apr 2007 to Mar 2015), Crossrail Bill (Dec 2005 to Nov 2007), Public Administration Committee (Oct 2002 to May 2010).


He was Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport (2016 to 2016) in opposition.
