Rt Hon David Lammy MP



Rt Hon David Lammy MP was born David Lindon Lammy on 19 July 1972 in Tottenham , England and is the Labour MP for Tottenham.


In the past, Mr David Lammy has held the position of Minister of State (Department for Business, Innovation and Skills) (Higher Education and Intellectual Property) (2009 to 2010), Minister of State (Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills) (Higher Education & Intellectual Property) (2008 to 2009), Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills) (Skills) (2007 to 2008), Minister of State (Department for Culture, Media and Sport) (Culture) (2005 to 2007), Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Constitutional Affairs) (2003 to 2005), Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department of Health) (2002 to 2003) in government.

He was Shadow Minister (Higher Education and Intellectual Property) (2010 to 2010) in opposition.
