Mr Gary Streeter was born Gary Nicholas Streeter on 02 October 1955 in Gosport, England and is the Conservative MP for South West Devon.

Mr Gary Streeter ceased to be a member of the House of Commons on 03 May 2017 (general election).

In the past, Mr Gary Streeter has held the position of Parliamentary Secretary (Lord Chancellor's Department) (1996 to 1997), Assistant Whip (Law Officers) (1995 to 1996) in government.

He was Shadow Minister (Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) (2003 to 2004), Shadow Secretary of State for International Development (1998 to 2001), Shadow Spokesperson (Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) (1997 to 1998) in opposition.

He was Vice-Chair, Conservative Party.
