Michael Fabricant MP



Michael Fabricant MP was born Michael Louis David Fabricant on 12 June 1950 in Brighton, England and is the Conservative MP for Lichfield.


Currently sitting on the Administration Committee (since July 2015), Michael Fabricant does not chair at this time.

He has in the past sat on Administration Committee (Dec 2014 to Mar 2015), Committee of Selection (Jun 2010 to May 2013), Administration Committee (Mar 2009 to May 2010), Finance and Services Committee (Nov 2001 to Feb 2004), Liaison Committee (Commons) (Nov 2001 to Jul 2003), Culture, Media and Sport Committee (Jul 2001 to Jul 2005), Home Affairs Committee (Jul 1999 to May 2001), Culture, Media and Sport Committee (Jul 1997 to Nov 1999), National Heritage (Jun 1993 to May 1996).


In the past, Michael Fabricant has held the position of Lord Commissioner (HM Treasury) (Whip) (2010 to 2012) in government.

He was Opposition Whip (Commons) (2005 to 2010), Shadow Minister (Trade and Industry) (Trade and Economic Affairs) (2003 to 2005) in opposition.

He was Vice-Chair, Conservative Party.
