The Lord Krebs was born John Krebs on 11 April 1945 , and is a Crossbench Life peer sitting in the House of Lords since 28 March 2007.


Currently sitting on the EU Energy and Environment Sub-Committee (since June 2015), Lord Krebs does not chair at this time.

He has in the past sat on Science and Technology: Sub-Committee I (Higher education in STEM subjects) (Sep 2011 to Jul 2012), Science and Technology: Sub-Committee I (Dec 2008 to Sep 2011), Select Committee on Science and Technology Sub-Committee 2 (Nov 2007 to Nov 2009), Science and Technology Committee (Lords) (Nov 2007 to May 2014). He has also chaired in the past Science and Technology Committee (Lords) (Jun 2010 to May 2014).
