The Rt Hon. the Baroness Warsi was born Sayeeda Warsi on 28 March 1971 , and is a Conservative Life peer sitting in the House of Lords since 11 October 2007.


In the past, Baroness Warsi has held the position of Senior Minister of State (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) (Jointly with the Department for Communities and Local Government) (2012 to 2014), Senior Minister of State (Department for Communities and Local Government) (Faith and Communities) (also in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office) (2012 to 2014), Minister without Portfolio (Cabinet Office) (2010 to 2012) in government.

She was Co-Chair, Conservative Party.
