The Baroness McIntosh of Pickering

The Baroness McIntosh of Pickering was born Anne McIntosh on 20 September 1954 , and is a Conservative Life peer sitting in the House of Lords since 06 October 2015. She previously sat in the House Of Commons as MP for Thirsk and Malton and Vale of York.


She was Shadow Minister (Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) (2007 to 2010), Shadow Minister (Children, Young People and Families) (2006 to 2007), Shadow Minister (Work and Pensions) (2005 to 2006), Shadow Minister (Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) (2005 to 2005), Shadow Minister (Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) (2003 to 2005), Shadow Minister (Transport) (2002 to 2005), Shadow Spokesperson (Culture, Media and Sport) (2001 to 2002) in opposition.
