Dr Dan Poulter MP

Central Suffolk and North Ipswich


Dr Dan Poulter MP was born Daniel Leonard James Poulter on 30 October 1978 in Beckenham, England and is the Conservative MP for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich.


Currently sitting on the Environmental Audit Committee (since September 2017), Dr Dan Poulter does not chair at this time.

He has in the past sat on Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee (Oct 2016 to May 2017), Backbench Business Committee (Oct 2016 to Jan 2017), Energy and Climate Change Committee (Jul 2015 to Oct 2016), Scottish Affairs Committee (Jul 2015 to Jan 2017), Health Committee (Jun 2011 to Oct 2012), Draft House of Lords Reform Bill (Joint Committee) (Jun 2011 to Mar 2012).


In the past, Dr Dan Poulter has held the position of Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department of Health) (2012 to 2015) in government.
