Rt Hon Gavin Barwell was born Gavin Laurence Barwell on 23 January 1972 in Cluckfield, England and is the Conservative MP for Croydon Central.

Rt Hon Gavin Barwell ceased to be a member of the House of Commons on 03 May 2017 (general election).


In the past, Gavin Barwell has held the position of Minister of State (Department for Communities and Local Government) (Housing, Planning and London) (2016 to 2017), Comptroller (HM Household) (Whip, House of Commons) (2015 to 2016), Lord Commissioner (HM Treasury) (Whip) (2014 to 2015), Assistant Whip (HM Treasury) (2013 to 2014) in government.
