Rt Hon Esther McVey MP



Rt Hon Esther McVey MP was born Esther Louise McVey on 24 October 1967 in Liverpool, England and is the Conservative MP for Tatton. She has been an MP since 08 June 2017 and has previously sat in the House of Commons for Wirral West.


Currently sitting on the Home Affairs Committee (since September 2017), Esther McVey does not chair at this time.


In the past, Esther McVey has held the position of Minister of State (Department for Work and Pensions) (Cabinet) (2014 to 2015), Minister of State (Department for Work and Pensions) (2013 to 2014), Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Work and Pensions) (2012 to 2013) in government.
