Dr Thérèse Coffey MP was born Thérèse Anne Coffey on 18 November 1971 in Billinge, England and is the Conservative MP for Suffolk Coastal.


Dr Thérèse Coffey is currently Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs), a government position she has held since July 2016.

In the past, Dr Thérèse Coffey has held the position of Parliamentary Secretary and Deputy Leader of the House of Commons (2015 to 2016), Assistant Whip (HM Treasury) (2014 to 2015) in government.
