Kate Green was born Kate Green on 02 May 1960 in Edinburgh, Scotland and is the Labour MP for Stretford and Urmston.

Kate Green ceased to be a member of the House of Commons on 03 May 2017 (general election).


She was Shadow Minister (Equalities Office) (Women and Equalities) (2015 to 2016), Shadow Minister (Work and Pensions) (2013 to 2015), Shadow Minister (Equalities) (2011 to 2013) in opposition.
