Ian Lavery was born Ian Lavery on 06 January 1963 in Ashington, England and is the Labour MP for Wansbeck.

Ian Lavery ceased to be a member of the House of Commons on 03 May 2017 (general election).


He was Campaigns and Elections Chair (2017 to 2017), Shadow Minister (Cabinet Office) (2016 to 2017), Shadow Minister (Cabinet Office) (Trade Unions and Civil Society) (2015 to 2016) in opposition.
