The Baroness Parminter

Life peer


The Baroness Parminter was born Kathryn Jane Parminter on 24 June 1964 , and is a Liberal Democrat Life peer sitting in the House of Lords since 15 July 2010.


Currently sitting on the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006 Committee (since June 2017), Baroness Parminter does not chair at this time.

She has in the past sat on National Policy for the Built Environment Committee (Jun 2015 to Feb 2016), European Union Committee (May 2013 to Mar 2015), EU Sub Committee D - Agriculture, Fisheries, Environment and Energy (May 2012 to Mar 2015), EU Sub-Committee D - Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment (Jun 2010 to May 2012).


Baroness Parminter is currently Liberal Democrat Lords Spokesperson (Environment, Food and Rural Affairs), an opposition position she has held since June 2015.
