The Baroness Doocey OBE

Life peer


The Baroness Doocey OBE was born Elizabeth Deirdre Doocey on 02 May 1948 , and is a Liberal Democrat Life peer sitting in the House of Lords since 21 December 2010.


Currently sitting on the House of Lords Commission (since September 2016), Leader's Group on Governance (since March 2015), Baroness Doocey chairs the Finance Committee (Lords) (September 2016).

She has in the past sat on Draft Modern Slavery Bill (Jan 2014 to Apr 2014), Olympic and Paralympic Legacy Committee (May 2013 to Jun 2013), Draft Enhanced Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures Bill (Joint Committee) (Jul 2012 to Nov 2012), Refreshment Committee (Lords) (Jun 2012 to Mar 2015).


She was Liberal Democrat Lords Spokesperson (Sport, Tourism and Cultural Participation) (2015 to 2015) in opposition.
