Helen Jones MP was born Helen Mary Jones on 24 December 1954 in Chester , England and is the Labour MP for Warrington North.


Currently sitting on the Liaison Committee (Commons) (since September 2015), Helen Jones chairs the Petitions Committee (June 2015).

She has in the past sat on Finance Committee (Commons) (Jul 2015 to Nov 2016), Committee of Selection (Jun 2009 to Oct 2010), Administration Committee (Jul 2005 to Nov 2007), Education & Skills (Oct 2003 to Nov 2007), Standing Orders (Oct 2001 to May 2010), Unopposed Bills (Panel) (Oct 2001 to May 2010), Education Sub-committee (Dec 1999 to May 2001), Education & Employment (Dec 1999 to May 2001), Standing Orders (Jun 1999 to Jun 2000), Public Administration Committee (Feb 1998 to Feb 2000).
