Ms Angela Eagle was born Angela Eagle on 17 February 1961 in Bridlington, England and is the Labour MP for Wallasey.

Ms Angela Eagle ceased to be a member of the House of Commons on 03 May 2017 (general election).

In the past, Ms Angela Eagle has held the position of Minister of State (Department for Work and Pensions) (2009 to 2010), Exchequer Secretary (HM Treasury) (2007 to 2009), Parliamentary Secretary (Home office) (2001 to 2002), Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department of Social Security) (1998 to 2001), Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Environment, Transport and the Regions) (1997 to 1998) in government.

She was Shadow First Secretary of State, Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills (2015 to 2016), Shadow Leader of the House of Commons (2011 to 2015), Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury (2010 to 2011), Shadow Minister (Treasury) (2010 to 2010), Opposition Whip (Commons) (1996 to 1997) in opposition.

She was Member, Labour Party National Executive Committee.
