Rt Hon Alan Campbell



Rt Hon Alan Campbell was born Alan Campbell on 08 July 1957 in Consett , England and is the Labour MP for Tynemouth.

Rt Hon Alan Campbell ceased to be a member of the House of Commons on 03 May 2017 (general election).


In the past, Mr Alan Campbell has held the position of Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Home Office) (Crime Reduction) (2008 to 2010), Lord Commissioner (HM Treasury) (Whip) (2006 to 2008), Assistant Whip (HM Treasury) (2005 to 2006) in government.

He was Opposition Deputy Chief Whip (Commons) (2010 to 2017), Shadow Minister (Home Affairs) (2010 to 2010) in opposition.
