Sir Henry Bellingham MP

North West Norfolk


Sir Henry Bellingham MP was born Henry Campbell Bellingham on 29 March 1955 in Cheltenham, England and is the Conservative MP for North West Norfolk. He has been an MP since 07 June 2001 and has previously sat in the House of Commons for North West Norfolk.


Currently sitting on the Panel of Chairs (since September 2017), Sir Henry Bellingham does not chair at this time.

He has in the past sat on High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Bill (Commons) (Apr 2014 to Feb 2016), Trade & Industry (Dec 2002 to Dec 2003), Northern Ireland Affairs Committee (Jul 2001 to Nov 2002), Environment (Jun 1987 to Mar 1991).


In the past, Sir Henry Bellingham has held the position of Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) (2010 to 2012) in government.

He was Shadow Minister (Justice) (2006 to 2010), Opposition Whip (Commons) (2005 to 2006), Shadow Minister (Business, Innovation and Skills) (2003 to 2005), Shadow Minister (Trade and Industry) (2002 to 2003) in opposition.
